Easter

We had so much fun during Spring Break! It began with Camping at Auga Caliente Dessert State Park. Daddy got sick so he didn't get to come! The kids got new bikes out in the dessert. Karlie had to learn hand breaks on her new GT dirt bike! Derek had to adjust to his new big boy Diamond back. Ryan inherited Derek's old bike! All the kids got bumps, scrapes and bruises but they never gave up! Then we had Easter Sunday at our house! We had my sister and her family over, my brother Eric and my Grandma. It was allot of fun. The kids played together and had a big Easter Egg hunt!

Then during the week we had allot of fun being together. We went to the Wild Animal Park and saw the Butterflies. Daddy took a day off, the boys had school so Karlie, Daddy and Mommy got to go on a date together. We went to Boomers and played some put-put and rode the Go Karts. Karlie and Daddy won! Then we went to Soup Plantation for lunch!

All in all Spring Break was fun I can't wait for Summer!!

The kids had fun! And their hair was CRAZY!!!!

Opening Day!!

Yup it's official I am a Soccer Mom!!! Today was Opening Day for Spring Soccer here in Ramona! All 3 of the kids are playing! Karlie is playing for the first time. Her team is called The Poison Arrow Frogs! Karlie really surprised us at how well she did! She ran and ran, she got right in the action, she had no problem getting in there and fighting for the ball. She came close to scoring but did get an assist! This girls says she loves soccer and thinks she may trade in her pompoms for cleats and shin guards in the fall. She says she can go back to cheer next year...we will wait and see!!
Derek and Ryan are on the same team The Sharks!! Derek is playing his 2nd season. He played last fall also. It was no surprise that Derek dominated the whole game! He scored 10 goals! The other team didn't have a chance! He had a very proud face the whole game as he repeatedly scored! He even threw in a celebration cartwheel at one time!!
Ryan is sooooooo cute! He tries so hard. He is really not suppose to play. The league is for 4 and up. Ryan is barely 3 but he wanted to play so bad so I asked if he could. They said it was my choice but if he was unable to play I couldn't get my money back. So I signed him up! He is laterally one with the ball! He falls all the time and causes allot of pile ups! He is a tough little guy though and he gets right back up and keeps trying. He likes to look down at his feet or at his shadow when he runs. (no wonder he falls) But he is very good a dribbling the ball.
So we are really enjoying our Soccer Sundays! Daddy is so proud!

Humming Birds and Snakes

Today we had a nice time at the Zoo! We were downtown picking up a donation from the Padres for Derek and Ryan's school carnival. After we finished at Pet Co Park we needed to get some lunch. The kids decided we should go to the Zoo and have a hotdog. So thats what we did! We stopped in for a short visit with the snakes first then the Humming Birds.

Can't beleive she's 8!!!!

I can't believe she is already 8!!! I can remember the day she was born like it happened yesturday. Now she is growing up so fast where does the time go? We had her party on 3/1/08 at the Boardwalk. It was fun visiting and playing with friends and family. Her theme was of course Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus! She had a great time.

On her birthday we met Uncle Eric at In & Out and later she got to choose her Birthday dinner which was....Crackers, cheese and grapes to start, then salad, baked potato w/ all the fixins and steak!! Daddy BBQ'd and it was perfect!
