Little Things

You know how sometimes those little things can make you so happy? It's really silly but I am so happy that my shows are back! It's not very often that I do anything just for me. But when the new season of my shows start then I take a little time to myself or time for me and Doug depending on the show! So last night WE watched Survivor like we have since the beginning of the show. Then I get to watch Grey's Anatomy! (That's my favorite) WE watch CSI together but that didn't start yet! I really like Desperate Housewives too...but I wasn't very happy with the way last season ended so we will see how it goes on Sunday! It's that time after everyone is asleep and you have other things you should do but instead you sit back, munch on some junk and watch McDreamy, McSteamy or McWhoever else! It's my McTime!! Ok a little overboard on the Mc's but you get the point!

Soccer-Soccer-Soccer!! Did I mention soccer??

So I think I am the definition of "Soccer Mom" we have soccer 4 days a week! Saturday is officially "Soccer Saturday!" All 3 of the kids are doing great and loving soccer! For me it is a juggling act and a bit hectic at times but the look of joy on their faces "priceless!" So this is this past Saturday. Derek had an 11am game against the Rocketts. Last weeks game against the Red Hot Chili Pepper's was a tough one and The Blue Angels had their first loss! But on Saturday Derek was confident that he and his team would beat the Rocketts! He said that he and the Charger's were gonna come out on top this week despite what happened last week!! Well he was right!! His team was victorious and so were the Charger's! Derek had 5 goals and his team won like 8 to 2!! Check him out!








These pictures are from last week! This past Saturday I couldn't take any pictures of Ryan or Karlie because I was coaching Ryan's team. I have been running his practice every week with his coach. But Ryan's coach needed me on Saturday so no pictures!! Karlie and Ryan's games were at the same time so I didn't see any of Kar Kar's game:( But Ryan did great at his game! It was lots of fun. He played the Hammer Heads and his team won!! (Daddy watched Karlie's game and she did great too!) The following pictures are from the previous Saturday when he played the Ice Dragon's.

Here is Karlie! This was her game against The Comet's. The Comet's won:( But Karlie came close to scoring twice! This past Saturday she played The Smashing Pumpkin's! It was a tough game and it was scoreless up until the end when the other team scored:( Karlie and her team are playing great despite not winning!! If you look at the first picture you can see some of the after math of last years fires!! Last year before the fires that mountain was green and covered with plants and flowers!

This is Derek last week against the Red Hot Chili Pepper's! This is him and his buddy fighting for the ball! Cameron went to school with him and was on his soccer team last year!

Tunnel Time!

We are doing great! Busy as ever but doing great! Doug is working allot! He did get to go watch the Charger's beat the Bret Favre's AKA The Jet's last night for Monday night Football!!!

The kids are all doing great in school. Karlie is hoping to be on Student Council this year! Ryan's new skills include counting to 30 and spelling his name! All 3 kids are doing AWANA's again this year and loving it! Derek is working on John 3:16 and almost has it down. See what I mean we are B-U-S-Y! My Grandma is finally out of the hospital! She was there about 2 weeks. She had to get a new pacemaker but is home and doing well thank God!! I will try to keep up on my blogging!

what's going on?

Well we had a pretty busy week which included a trip to see the Tedesco's. It was so fun seeing you guys and thanks for all the yummy food! The kids had so much fun playing with Anthony and Mark. Here are the kids with Anthony. Mark wasn't in the mood for pictures.

We even took a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth...and one of my favorite places!

And now it is officially soccer season! My days as a Soccer Mom are back! We have all 3 kids playing on 3 different divisions!! This is at opening ceremonies. Ryan is a Shooting Star!

The kids had to vote on a name. They all get to think of a name and then the team votes.

Karlie's idea for the all girl yellow team was Kickin Chicks!

But she was out voted so Flaming Icecubes it is.

She is learning to live with it!

Game 1 for the Blue Angels. Derek scored 3 goals! Blue Angels win in a close game 6 to 5

This is Ryan scoring his 1st goal of 2! Ryan did so good. He is not even suppose to be playing since he is only 3 but he really did great!

Karlie had a by week so she will get her chance this weekend. So for now we spend 3 week nights and Saturday at the soccer fields watching our little soccer stars. It is so much fun!!!

A 50th Anniversary Photo Shoot

On Monday I got to photograph this adorable couple with their family! It was the day after my 9th anniversary and this couple will be celebrating their 50th anniversary this weekend! It was so fun hanging out with them. I have to thank Carrie for the ideas and all the help! Thank you Carrie! So here is a little sample from the day. BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

So we made it through the first week of school! The kids did great! There were no tears (well I had some but I hid them well...don't you hate it when people talk to you when your trying not to cry! That was me and I had that sore throat lump thing going on) The kids were soooo cute though. Derek was all big and proud in his Charger gear! He had his new Gates jersey, Charger back pack and lunch box! My Karlie was so cute she matched down to her nails!! She had me paint them pink with black pokadots to match her outfit!! They really love school. Karlie has taken on this little Mommy side and insists on walking Derek to class. She also took it upon herself to make arrangements to work in Derek's classroom. So for one of her recess breaks her and her little friend Maddy go work in Derek's classroom! She so reminds me of me and how I was with my little brother!

This weekend we were at the Mini Nationals Motocross races! My nephew Brandon, niece Angelica, and my little Garrett all raced! They all did a great job! It was so fun watching them. Good job kiddos I love you guys! Dakota we will see you next year right! No more broken arms got it!!!
