Home made Ice Cream! Yummy!
Today when we came home from VBS which has been a complete blast, we made home made ice cream. I had all 6 kids plus 2 more just for fun! All the kids had fun helping. We did it the old fashion way with ice and rock salt. We made vanilla with Reese's Peanut Butter cups. It was so yummy! Lots of fun to make with the kids!

LOL I remember one summer my cousin and I were making our own ice cream and the metal barrel that held the salt and ice leaked all over the ice cream and it left us with the saltiest and nastiest tasting ice cream... so we decided to pull a prank on our moms (they are sisters) and we went ahead and decorated the salty ice cream with all the yummy toppings and gave it to them... lol
